Brief Paperwork in Copperas Cove TX

Upon entering the office, we have some brief paperwork for you to fill out. The paperwork provides us with general information about yourself and your condition.

Consultation

Once the paperwork has been completed, you will have a complimentary consultation with the doctor to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, as well as potential treatment options.

History and Examination

In order to determine what your actual problem is, the doctor will ask you various questions related to your condition. Next, any number of specialized tests will be performed to determine which tissues are affected and to what extent. The goal is to find out what's not working right versus what is working right, what the cause of your symptoms or problem is, and the best and fastest way to resolve it.

Advanced Analysis

Functional neurological assessments may be utilized, such as Applied Kinesiology or Contact Reflex Analysis procedures, in order to determine the cause or root of your health concern, whether it be emotional, biochemical/nutritional, or structural/physical, when necessary. There is no extra charge however. These procedures are very precise and accurate and can often make the difference in someone's ability to heal from a condition or not.

X-ray Studies

Your specific condition may require x-rays to either rule out certain serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. Typically, X-rays are not necessary and will only be recommended if the doctor feels, or has indications, that they are absolutely necessary for you. This helps to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation, even though it is minor.

Next Day Treatment

Once finished with the examination and all appropriate studies, patients will generally be provided with their first treatment during the very next visit, which is usually the next business day. This may include spinal adjustments, physical therapies, soft tissue therapies, nutritional therapies, or a number of other procedures, depending on what's necessary that day for the individual person. Same day treatment may be available under special circumstances and with given opportunity. Our goal is always to get our clients feeling better and well again as quickly as possible.

Report of Findings

Before any treatment is given, the doctor will go over a thorough report of findings with our clients to explain and show what the problem is that's causing the pain, dysfunction, symptom, or concern that the person is seeking help for. The doctor feels that communication is very important and desires that each person receives all the information they need to help them make their own informed decision about their health care. At this time, the doctor also confirms whether or not the person seeking help is eligible for chiropractic care or any other natural treatments or therapies that are available, and if the doctor knows he can help the person with their problem/concern, then and only then, is the person able to be accepted into our clinic as a new client. With this, the doctor can then explain the best and fastest way to resolve the person's problem or best assist their body in the healing process. This report visit is typically scheduled the day following the client's exam. If accepted into care, the person's first treatment may then begin immediately following this report, on the same day.

Home Instructions

Prior to leaving the report visit and/or first treatment visit, clients may be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. This may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, home exercises and/or stretches, as well as nutritional/herbal supplementation as needed per individual case.

Scheduling Your Appointments

Before leaving the clinic from your report visit, you will be given a convenient appointment time for your next visit(s). Generally speaking, clients are seen within 1-2 days after their examination and are provided with a complete treatment plan. Treatment and payment options for your condition will also be discussed during this time to be sure you can follow the best and fastest plan to take care of your concerns. Walk-ins are welcomed, however, it is usually easier for people to schedule their visits so a specific time is allotted for the client.
